A pupil from the Chinhoyi University has been thrown behind bars after hacking into the school’s results portal. The student is said to have changed his own results and of fellow peers at a fee. He used a technique called SQL Map which is an SQL injection technique to hack into the institution’s database.
The student is currently in 2.2 studying IT, however the issue has sparked debate as others argued that he is supposed to be utilised and help the school improve the system. Another question which remain unanswered is that, is he the first to commit such crime or others successfully did the same?
