Econet has added a weekend hourly data bundle to its bundle options, by dialing *143# Econet users can now get 1Gig worth of data for only Rtgs$48,00. This proves to be competitive as NetOne is offering the same package for Rtgs$60,00.
Unfortunately this is only available on the weekends but it would have been an all time best alternative for quick browsing and downloads, hopefully they will consider making them available throughout.
For your convenience, Econet also added a package valid for 2 hours with slightly more cost. Hourly packages aside, both networks still provide almost the same charges for various packages, 80mb daily bundle attracts the same cost of Rtgs$50,00 from both networks putting them in the same bracket.
